Investing in a pair of boots is sensible when it gets to winter time. British weather can be cold and wet during the winter season so a decent pair of boots keeps your feet snug and dry during the dreariest of days.
Leather is a popular material for boots and is hard wearing if cared for properly. Without proper conditioning and care, leather can dry out until it eventually cracks and falls apart and then your favourite boots will be no more.

Use a brush to clean off any mud or dirt and any stains can be treated with hot water but exercise caution and never rub suede – simply blot.
Treating your suede boots with a water and stain repellent is a sensible idea and prevention is better than cure after all.

Whatever type of womens boots you like the best, make sure you buy the correct size to ensure maximum comfort, especially if you plan to wear your boots most days during winter.
If you are wearing shoes now, try to wiggle your toes up and down and check there is enough room to place your thumb between the end of your longest toe and the tip of the shoe. If you can do this then your shoes probably fit properly.
Always try on your boots before purchase too and make your choice by the way they fit, not necessarily by size as this can vary between different shops.
